Banca Mediolanum is the banking arm of the Italian financial conglomerate Gruppo Mediolanum. Founded in 1982 by Ennio Doris, Gruppo Mediolanum is one of the largest banks in Italy.
The company offers banking, asset management, and insurance products and services to customers in three markets: Italy, Spain and Monaco. Banca Mediolanum divides its activities into four: retail brokerage, asset management, trading and sale, and retail and commercial banking. Through these segments, the bank offers a whole host of services and products including: savings and current accounts, mortgages, loans, investment products, insurance, online banking, trading services, and more.
Banca Mediolanum is a publicly traded bank. As at 31 December 2015, the bank had total assets of EUR44.710 billion.
